-
How often should I book an appointment?Appointment intervals vary depending upon the treatment you require. In general, most routine nail / corn & callus treatments should be booked at 6 week intervals. This depends on each client and their individual footcare needs with some opting to extend to 8 weeks or reduce to 4 weeks. Musculoskeletal visits may range from 1-24 week intervals. Surgical clients often have visits 24-36 hours post op and may have a review at any point they feel necessary. We offer discounted rates for our regular clients who book their routine footcare visits in advance.
-
What does the initial consultation and footcare include? Our initial consultation is normally a slightly longer visit as it consists of a full neuro-vascular assessment. This is where we will assess circulation, nerve sensitivity and the overall / general condition of your foot health. Once this examination has been completed, we treat all of your routine foot care elements during that appointment. Routine footcare includes - deodorising, nail cutting, reduction of thickened nails, debridement of corns and callus, filing and moisturising of nails and skin. You may require more than one appointment visit should the condition of your feet require additional work. Musculoskeletal appointments will be guided by your ailment with assessment and treatments being tailored specific to your needs.
